Create and secure your own Binance account, get verified, and make your first trade — the right way, with no shortcuts that put your funds at risk.
Go to binance.com directly, or install the official Binance app from the Apple App Store / Google Play. Never use a link sent to you privately by a "recruiter" or in a chat message. Sign up with your email or phone and set a strong password you do not reuse anywhere else.
Before doing anything else, open Security in your account settings and connect an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator. Save the backup codes somewhere private and offline. 2FA is the single most effective protection against account takeover.
Go to Identification and submit a government ID plus a selfie as prompted. This is a standard, regulated step on every licensed exchange and unlocks deposits, withdrawals and higher limits. Submit these documents only inside the official app or website.
You can add funds two ways: buying crypto directly under Buy Crypto with a card or bank transfer, or depositing crypto you already own from another wallet under Wallet → Deposit. Trading (Spot) simply exchanges one asset for another at the current market price — it does not involve anyone else's money.
Go to Trade → Spot, choose a pair such as BTC/USDT, review the current price, and place a small Market order to start. Check that it appears correctly in Order History before trading larger amounts.
Under Security, enable a Withdrawal Whitelist so funds can only be sent to addresses you have pre-approved. This stops an attacker from withdrawing to their own address even if they manage to log into your account.
Binance support will never message you first, never ask for your password or 2FA codes, and never ask you to send crypto to "verify" your account. If a "job", "recruiter" or "investment manager" ever asks you to receive money in your own bank account and convert it to crypto on their behalf, that is not a legitimate use of Binance — do not do it, and report the account.
